Our Legumes

Beans, peas, chickpeas, lentils in the past were called "the poor man's meat" for their nutritional properties at a low cost. In fact, legumes, unlike salami, meats, eggs and cheese are rich in protein, but contain very little fat and are cholesterol free. They are also a source of minerals such as magnesium, zinc, calcium and iron. Combined with whole grains form a complete meal from the point of view of the amino acids, necessary for the proper functioning of our body. Canned beans are widely used as ingredient in preparing of various dishes. Thanks to growing of HO.RE.CA. area in the last years, canned beans are highly required by hotels, restaurants, schools, military and marine kitchen.

Baked Beans

The baked beans are also very popular by customers because of their easy availability, low cost, long shelf life and easy of preparation (basically just reheat). The tomato sauce covering baked beans is also a good source of lycopene, another powerful antioxidant shown to help prevent heart disease and prostate cancer.
